Day 0 is the day that Addie will receive her cells and by the sounds of it we should celebrate that day... even if our stem cell transplant is different than the "norm" it is still a very important step towards Addie's road to recovery. She may not be getting a "new" system but she is getting closer to the day we get to say GOOD-BYE to Naughty Randall forever. Her system has proven that it is strong and able to fight whatever comes its way. Now thinking of it, we don't need a NEW system because Addie's is perfectly capable!
I believe that we have already said good-bye to Naughty Randall, everything from this point forward is to ensure that he never returns!! I have to trust that this is truth!! I have to live everyday believing that my little girl will WIN this battle and that I will get to walk her to kindergarten, watch her graduate high school and college, give her away to a very PERFECT husband and someday watch her become a mother. I have to trust in these things... I must BELIEVE in her and the plan God has for her. I know that whatever His plan is for my Addie it is a perfect plan, without flaw. He loves her more than I do, more than I can even fathom. She is in good hands...every second of every day He walks with HER!
Here we go Team Addie... this is going to be a rough road but SHE can do it!! She will do it!! Please continue to pray for the things that I requested on my last post. PRAY that this room we are in is shielded by God, protected from all infections. Please Lord let the medications only kill the remaining cancer cells so that it can NEVER return. Please let NO harm come to her precious body. Please let her cells engraft quickly and let her sickness be short lived.
Thanks for all your support!!
A special thank to Melissa... those balloons were perfect, Addie adored them, perfect timing :) Thank you so much.
